My home is suitable for a singles, couples, graduate students, post-docs, visiting fellows and lecturers, and non-smokers. This is a smoke-free environment. Your rent is $875 per month. Electric, water, and trash is included. Gas and internet, however, are extra. A coin-operated washer and dryer are on-sight. Only cats are permitted.
Rent is due on the 15th of each month. As the sublet is available until December 31st, you are free to stay past the 15th for an additional prorated amount. Serious candidates will need to:
- Contact me for a showing
- Complete an application
- Pass a credit check. The fee for the credit check is $25, paid for by the subtent
Showings will start on Sunday, April 2, 2017 and are by appointment only. Showing times are:
- Sundays: 4:30pm - 6:30pm
- Mondays: 6:00pm - 7:00pm
The selected candidate must sign a sublease before their move-in date. There is no security deposit. However, to hold the apartment, you must submit $485.50: half of the rent for August ($437.50) plus a nonrefundable $50 cleaning fee. You can pay the remaining balance in full on your move-in date.
Your landlord, Christel Manning, lives one block away on Front street. She is a professor of religious studies at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut. Christel is very responsive and dependable (A lecturer from the religion department at Sacred Heart co-rents the apartment on the second floor). In addition to her teaching, Christel is a gardener and does an excellent job maintaining the yard. Tenants can use the three boxes in the backyard for gardening. Christel is in one of the pictures on the "Meet Your Community"post. Can you guess who she is?
